I can't wait until Tuesday, and Wednesday

Alright, so you know what happens the next two days...No, not Carl's retirement. Let's start backwards. On Wednesday, CERN will be turned on.

I would just like to point out, in the event that everything runs smoothly and we don't die in a black hole, that the company I proudly work for, National Instruments, helped by providing data acquisition hardware and software capable of intercepting misguided or unstable particle beams. (Yes, I am doing a little bit of marketing here, but the CERN project is just so freakin awesome!!!)

Now, if a black hole is created, I would just like to point out that the Carl once worked with PXI. Hey, I'm not pointing fingers, I'm just saying.

If you aren't sure what CERN is, I'm embedded this video that the boys in our AV Team put together. This should help you understand.

Oh, and tomorrow, I am posting another video, so be ready!!!

Will CERN kill us all...who cares!

It is Wednesday, which means, a new video should have been posted yesterday!!! But in recent light of all the discussion happening around CERN and the Large Hadron Collider and the CERN Rap song that was released, I made a special video.

I've been hearing about this project for some time now. CERN used National Instruments' products to help keep particles from recklessly flying everywhere and killing everyone like in a James Bond movie.

Some people believe that CERN will catapult us into a new era of science. Others believe it will create a black hole and kill us all. You know what I say...
